On the water in South Devon

The south Devon coast is all about wind power when it comes to watersports. You can surf here - Bigbury is the best place - but north Devon receives far more consistent surf. Sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing are the sports to try on this coast, and there are plenty of schools to teach you. If the sea is a little too rough for a coastal trip, you can still get out on the water on cruises that ply the Exe and Dart rivers.
