Cycle in DorsetDorset can be challenging for cyclists - the high chalkland hills create beautiful, undulating scenery that ask a lot of a cyclist’s lungs and legs. As in all the other areas we cover, there are traffic-free opportunities, most famously with the North Dorset Cycleway, which wends its way through classic Hardy country, and the Castleman Trailway, a disused railway line following the old Southampton to Dorchester route.

Moors Valley Country Park and Forest
Cycling, fishing, walks, golf, rope swings; there are loads of activities to try here. A great way to spend the day in the Dorset countryside. More »
