Perranporth Beach
(2.7 miles)
Over 2 miles long, the Perranporth Beach is large and sandy. There are extensive sand dunes and good surfing conditions. A nice walk can be found through the dune system to St. Piran's Cross and the ruins of St. Piran's Oratory, it is also situated on the South West coastal path.

The Plume of Feathers

A classic country pub with a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy the seasonal menu and frequently changing specials board where fresh, local and traceable ingredients are used to prepare classic British and modern European fare. Mitchell has its own fruit farm and the fruit and vegetables are sourced from here. Reclaimed slate from the renovated barns is used to serve a selection of Cornish chesses.

The village of Crantock is surrounded by miles of coastal paths and stunning beaches. With picturesque thatched cottages, an art gallery, an antique shop and tea rooms the village itself is delightful. The River Gannel flows out at Crantock Beach from a mile-long estuary. An important site for native and migrating birds the area is a haven for wildlife.
