Getting out into the far west of Cornwall on a bike gives you a chance to really connect with the magnificent surroundings. Yes, it’s hilly in places, but the views this affords are well worth the effort. Take plenty of water - you’ll want to escape the towns and explore the countryside, where shops are few and far between. The First and Last Trail, a glorious 25 mile ride from Land’s End to Hayle, takes in some of the best scenery, including St Michael’s Mount.
