The Abbey fairly recently changed Chef's (Michael Riemenschneider is the new resident) but have managed to maintain the standards of Food and Drink. The Food is now perhaps a little fussier in appearance but the flavours still, in part, justify the cost. The wine is over priced but the service and surroundings lead to an expensive restaurant so you kind of expect it. All in all it's very good but probably best reserved for special occasions.
