With long shingle beach and clear waters, Seaford is a popular place with watersports enthusiasts. To the north you'll find the chalk downland of the South Downs, whilst to the east the dramatic cliffs of the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head. Once a thriving port where smuggling and ship wrecking were common place, these days you'll find a more genteel way of life with cafes, shops and an excellent museum.
