Snuggled in the rolling hills of East Sussex, Burwash is a charming village with many interesting buildings and a lovely tree-lined high street. Batemans, home to the legendary Rudyard Kipling is now a popular National Trust property in the area. There's also a sprinkling of shops and two traditional pubs.
