We visited the pub twice during our stay. The first time we visited we had the Sunday lunch. The food and portion size was excellent value for money. The service was slick and friendly. A great experience. The second time we visited for an early evening meal during the week. The food was still up to a great standard but we one waitress serving, taking orders, clearing tables, etc and one person behind the bar, the service was slow (approx. 1 hour from when we arrived to when we received our food). We didn't stay for dessert because of this. I would still recommend and re-visit if I'm in the area.
