A Great area for lots of walk choices and superb views, along with tons of history of the area and its evolution. The car park is chargeable, so go prepared, the toilets were locked when we visited in November, so don't rely on those either! The cafe wasn't open and did not look as if it had been operating for a long time, so perhaps it is no longer a going concern? It all looked a bit run down from our last visit around 9 years ago. That said, as a place for a good walk, long or short, with many hard tracks, it is a great place to visit.

Everyone can enjoy tree surfing, mountain biking, walking, cycling, running and horse riding along miles of well maintained trails, set amongst the ruins of the tin mining era. A wide variety of walks from level to more challenging take in stunning scenery between the Tamar river and Morwellham Quay.
