Porthpean Beach

Great for nature-lovers, Porthpean beach’s cliffs are home to nesting birds up high and rockpools down low. A short walk from the car park on a relatively steep incline, the beach is also a pleasant walk away from Charlestown along the beautiful South West Coast Path.

Sunshine in may

After a 20 minute drive along single narrow lanes you arrive at a car park. The bay and beach are then a 5 minutes walk . But it's all worth it . Beautiful flat sand and gentle waves . A small sailing club lots of boats to watch . There are no restrictions on dogs it seems, many running around and swimming in the sea .

A quieter small Sandy beach

We loved this beach and small cove
There is only one car park but worth a visit or two
One day It was so calm and there were two people swimming
The next day it was very windy but had fantastic waves
Stunning
