A guide to the West Country from the people that know…

Fort Victoria Country Park

Situated on the north shore of the island and originally built to guard the Solent, what remains is now a country park for all to enjoy. Spend a day exploring the parkland, woodland walks and shore where you can watch the shipping go by. From Easter to October there are additional attractions including a planetarium, model railway and archaeology centre. Verdi's cafe is great for a refreshment stop before you continue your day. Ample parking is available and is free. A saver ticket can be purchased for the attractions.
