You really feel as though you are stepping back in time when you come through the gates of Bovey Castle and sweep through parkland down the drive. The spa is wonderful (they sometimes have out of season day packages), with a lovely pool which has views looking out to the moor - combined with a steam room and sauna, this offers a luxurious way to ease those aching muscles!
