Newton Poppleford

Start at Newton Poppleford Church, between Exeter and Sidmouth, for quiet countryside and good views across the Otter Valley. A circular route of 6.25 miles starts towards the west of the village before linking with the East Devon Way and crossing the River Otter.

Budleigh Salterton

Budleigh Salterton lies on the very western tip of the Jurassic Coast and is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by open countryside and woodlands, with rich red cliffs rearing up either side of the town, Budleigh Salterton is a blissful escape from the 21st century. The pebbly beach has room for everyone with two and half miles of seafront with beachside cafes and even some classic beach huts available to hire.

Otterton Mill

Set beside the River Otter in one of Devon's most beautiful valleys, Otterton Mill is an altogether different kind of experience. There is a centuries old working watermill, a famous bakery and shop full of superb local produce, a fabulous restaurant serving food to die for and a gallery selling work from a selection of the best artists from Devon, Dorset and Somerset.
