Explore The Blisland Inn and its Surroundings
|
|
CAMRA National Pub of the Year 2001. Always a minimum of 6 real ales to choose from, this is a traditional pub offering home cooked food and a good atmosphere. There have been almost 1,500 real ales served from this inn over the years, a trend which seems set to continue.

Bodmin & Wenford Railway
(4.8 miles)
The Bodmin & Wenford Railway is a Standard Gauge Railway that operates mainly steam locomotives in the Duchy of Cornwall.
Enjoy a 13 mile round trip on this steeply graded line through the beautiful countryside. The main station on the line is at Bodmin General. Boscarne Junction provides a direct link with the Camel Trail (bicycles can be taken on the train). Bodmin Parkway station is on the main rail line from London to Penzance and has a beautiful walk along the old carriage drive to Lanhydrock House.
Trains operate from March to December - daily from 26th May to
30th September and there are many special events throughout the year.

Bodmin
(4.2 miles)
A busy old market town, Bodmin has some very interesting architecture, including the notorious Bodmin Jail.

St Breward on Bodmin Moor
(2.6 miles)
A good moorland walk that can be had starting from the church is St Breward, on the western side of the moor. The views will include Britain’s first commercial wind farm at Delabole, then the lovely wooded valley of the Camel estuary.
