Perranporth Beach

Over 2 miles long, the Perranporth Beach is large and sandy. There are extensive sand dunes and good surfing conditions. A nice walk can be found through the dune system to St. Piran's Cross and the ruins of St. Piran's Oratory, it is also situated on the South West coastal path.

Superb for the Family
Jul 2008
by Joel Henthorn
This is a great beach the whole family can enjoy. 3 miles of sand. Great for surfing, sand castle building, lifeguarded swimming areas and easy access to nearby facilities including plenty of places to hire or buy a wetsuit. Can get crowded on sunny days in the summer.
On windy days the nearby Trevaunance Cove (South) or Holywell (North) can often be more sheltered.
Dogs can be walked on the beach here year round.
Nudists near Army Camp at the far North End.
