The legendary Beast of Bodmin - part panto horse, part primordial beast - is captured by Helliers (Cornish huntsmen) and put on trial at eerie Bodmin Jail. Lob in a town crier competition and Cornish wrestling and you have folklore at its most bizarre. Takes place during July each year.
