Decadent Dining

This restaurant is tailored towards adults, although there were some children dining when we visited recently for an evening meal. (I think you may struggle to find something suitable on the menu for many youngsters) The food was extremely tasty and very well presented, nothing was too much trouble. Many combinations of flavours added to the dining experience. I would love to visit in the Summer months just to be able to ponder the view out to sea. Excellent standard of food and service, we will definitely return.

beautifully cooked fish dishes overlooking the beach. We had an evening meal there as a treat & enjoyed it very much. Marked it down one star for putting all the diners on a very quiet wet windy evening all crowded together in one corner, would have been more conducive to chatting if we'd been seperated by even one empty table. 2 starters, 2 mains, one pudding, nice bottle of wine £85. All food local, very fresh and cooked to order, very important of you have allergy concerns as dishes can be modified to suit. Would definitely go back

We were staying nearby so had many drinks/light lunches here and the service was usually excellent. The food was of a good standard. My only criticism would be that we had our 2 year old daughter with us and she was not made to feel particulaly welcome. We actually felt a bit on edge one lunchtime (she was very well behaved but the only child there), we were spending a lot of money and she wasn't catered for in any way. This didn't put us off going for drinks/light snacks but we didn't return for lunch.

The Cove Restaurant

Don't be put off by the outside of this building which wouldn't win any design awards but inside is very different. We had lunch which was a very pleasant experience if a little on the light side. If you've just walked 8 miles to get here and have a large appetite you might go away still hungry. The food is very good and well presented though so I would still recommend it.

Restaurant

Expensive, but good food. Ambience a little lacking.
