Shell Bay

A popular place during the summer, this beach consists of a wide expanse of sand and is named after the shells which were once a common find here. Situated at the very tip of the Studland Peninsula, access is made from either the Swanage end or from the Sandbanks ferry on the otherside of Poole harbour mouth. Facilities are good and dogs are allowed year round however restrictions apply during summer.
