A guide to the West Country from the people that know…

Porthallow and Nare Point

Starting from the pretty fishing village of Porthallow, park on the pebbly beach and take the coastal path in an easterly direction. The path climbs up the cliff and then follows a route through heathland and grassland where Nare Head stands looking proudly out to sea about two miles away. This is a lovely scenic walk with views over the water towards St Mawes Head. Wear suitable footwear as the path is uneven at times and can be muddy.
