Poldark Mine

Follow in the footsteps of 18th Century Cornish tin miners - this is 'the only complete tin mine in Cornwall open for underground guided tours'. If you love Cornwall, it's nigh time you investigated the very ground it's built upon. It's an international destination of historical interest with a 'labyrinth of levels, caverns, adits, stopes, tunnels and shafts'. You should get your headlamp on and go investigate.

Wear appropriate clothing

I've heard great things about this place and so went along not realising you cant get in wearing flip flops - you need some decent footwear for health and safety reasons. I will try again soon!
