Lovely little village leading to Dollar Cove and Church Cove which are directly next door to each other. You can park near Church Cove and there is a lovely old church by the beach which is open should you wish to go in. There is a circular walk starting from the National Trust car park just past Chyvarloe Farm near Loe Bar. We had a lovely walk from here along the coastal path ending up at Church Cove and spending time here before returning along the single Track road and across fields to the car park.

On the very windy day that we visited, Gunwalloe was a little too exposed so we walked round to Church Cove.. It was wonderful - sheltered and much calmer for our three young children. We spent a couple of hours there and all were happy.

Church Cove at Gunwalloe is delightful with the church of St Winwalloe right beside the beach. Both are worth a visit, as is Barefoot Cafe on the road between Gunwalloe and Church Cove - best coffee in Cornwall and brownies to die for!

Gunwalloe Church Cove

Beautiful sandy cove with a very interesting church and separate bell tower built into the cliffs.
The cove has a well stocked kiosk selling pasties, icecreams, teas and buckets and spades during the season.
