Beautiful small country house with enchanting gardens that you are actively encouraged to use. Lots of birdlife and wildlife in the area, and a fabulous display of bluebells in spring. You can borrow a picnic rug from the reception building and tuck yourself away in a quiet corner for a relaxing lunch! Don't forget to go down the main drive and walk through the woods and alongside the river - not so many people visit there, and it's a hidden gem!

Be sure to visit when the house is open as well as the garden and grounds. The whole place has a magical atmosphere and the staff and volunteers are obviously passionate about the place. Walk up Godolphin Hill and you have a fanatastic 360 degree panorama
