Follow the coastal path to Storm Tower. Walk for another 200 metres towards the southerly end and there’s a very narrow and steep path. Great care should be taken as access is difficult. Once on the beach, Compass Cove has grey sand and shingle with interesting rock formations. Swimming is not recommended, nor is surfing. Dogs are allowed year round.
