We were looking for things to do on a showery/hailing day and children love machinery etc. This was a real hit and staff were so friendly. Cafe (which you can get into without paying entry) was lovely and you can also access Clay cycle trails. We enjoyed the site and would have explored more if the weather had been nicer. Children(1-7 yrs) enjoyed looking at the real China clay pit from viewpoint and we all learnt something and had fun.
