Cawsand and neighbouring Kingsand are historical Cornish fishing villages and regular recipients of the Best Kept Village Award. The beach here is popular for swimming, boating and windsurfing and close to the village amenities. Should you feel the need for some big city action, a ferry runs from Cawsand Bay to The Barbican, close to Plymouth city centre.
