A lovely, peaceful walk around woodland. From the car park the path leads straight into the woods and the path meanders through the trees.There are no footpath signs but it's only a mile round the woods so don't worry if you get a little lost. The woods are maintained to support red squirrels and hazel is coppiced on rotation to ensure a good crop of nuts is aways available. Dogs are welcome. The paths are fairly even and there are no stiles however it does become muddy during winter and therefore not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs.
