I stumbled across this delightful pub with my husband and chocolate labrador whilst walking through the town.Immediately we recieved a warm welcome and the staff that were working made us feel like locals..It isn't the biggest pub,but its the oldest in the town and the food is excellently priced and cooked quickly without losing any flavour.I would without a doubt make this my local pub if i lived in Penzance....

I've been coming to eat here on and off for about 20 years. Obviously the quality of the food's gone up and down as chefs have come and gone, but recently it's been good, with a big menu and specials board to choose from and good value for money. The beer garden's also a great find, especially if you're eating out with the kids.

Good all round pub bit on the small side though and a bit local if you know what I mean. Lovely secret beer garden out the back.
