The Old Coastguard

Set above the sea with a palm lined garden running down to the rocks, this is the perfect place to enjoy the creations of Head Chef Matthew Smith. The menu is created using locally sourced produce and guests are welcome to dine on the terrace in fine weather or inside on the Upper Deck. An open fire will keep you toasty during autumn and winter.

Gorgeous view, lovely wine

A perfect place to drink wine and have some homemade bread and olives watching the sea after a busy day at the beach. The garden is enclosed and the kids could play safely while we admired the view. A paradise.

This pub offers a conventionally stylish environment very similar to lots of Gastropubs around the UK, it offers a nice environment to relax in with a few drinks and nibbles and the garden is nice on warm days, offering good view of the coast etc. I took my family for dinner but was disappointed, The children's menu was limited and the food when it arrived looked executed in haste and was uninspiring. My wife and I both chose fish dishes and whilst these were nice they were nothing special, dessert followed the pattern set by mains but kids were really deflated with the few scoops of ice cream on offer. In summary the food was OK to nice but I did not feel I received value for money, and I left feeling the typical tourist taken for granted. My wife was also disgusted at the state of the ladies and this certainly didn't help the mood!
