The Bolingey Inn

Oozing with old world charm, The Bolingey Inn combines hearty home-cooked food with a welcoming atmosphere. With an emphasis on local produce and regularly rotating real ales, the pub is a popular choice and booking in advance is advised for the end of the week.

Frustratingly disappointing

This pub has a good selection of real ales, a good looking menu and a nice old world charm but the attitude of management makes it difficult to enjoy. Impossible for us to dine as a walk-in (even when the restaurant was empty), so book early in your stay. The pub took an advanced booking for our party of 12 then chose to tell us the day before that this would be hosted on two separate tables. Given this was a 50th birthday celebration with people flying in from overseas to attend, hardly ideal. We cancelled and found an excellent venue with a terrace overlooking Perranporth Beach. Oh, and the bathrooms are the worst I have seen in England for decades.

A friendly village inn, often with local singers and musicians to entertain you at the weekends. Also holds Real Ale Festivals which are very popular!
