Portreath Beach

With the soaring Gull Rock standing proud on the horizon, Portreath beach is certainly visually striking. Once a working port, the beach is now a firm favourite amongst bodyboarders, surfers and water-lovers, and boasts the advantages of easy access, parking and numerous facilities close to hand.

Great beach for all

A lovely beach which serve all ages. When tide is out caves and rock pools are good to explore particularly for young children. RNLI life guards are always to hand and the sea is good for body boarding and surfing depending on weather/ waves. Big difference between high and low tides makes for shallow but good water for water sports. Cafe on beach is good, and toilets a short walk away
